BEGINNER DRIVER TRAINING SEMINAR (ASF)

is a measure ordered by the licensing authority (road traffic office) in the case of one A violation or two B violations within the probationary period of a driving license, which is typically set for the first two years of a driving license. An A violation leads immediately to the order of a retraining course, while a B violation (less severe infraction) only results in this upon the second occurrence, specifically upon the second entry in the Federal Motor Transport Authority.

1. four theory sessions, each lasting 135 minutes,
2. one observation ride between the first and the second session (approx. 30 minutes) with up to three participants each

As part of the advanced seminar, among other things, the participants' violations are discussed, and ways to avoid them in the future are sought. Upon completion of the seminar, participants receive a certificate that must be submitted to the relevant administrative authority.

If the seminar is not successfully completed by the driver's license holder within the deadline set by the administrative authority, the driver's license will be revoked. A new driver's license will only be issued once participation in an advanced seminar is proven.
